Keeping Old-Time Music Alive in Northeastern Kentucky
The Stidham Old Time Music Association is built around James E. Webb Musical Repair and Sales in Tomahawk, where a working musician's shop has become the heart of a living musical ecosystem.
What began as an informal circle of local pickers has grown into a place where real instruction happens, instruments get repaired and played, and the Appalachian songs carried by our neighbors, families, elders, and working musicians stay active in everyday life. We believe old-time music isn't something to study from the past. It's something to keep making, teaching, and passing down, right here in northeastern Kentucky.
