Stidham Old Time Music Gathering

Every July, the Stidham Old Time Music Gathering brings musicians, families, neighbors, and visitors to Tomahawk, Kentucky to play and hear the old-time music of Appalachia. It happens at Webb Music Shop on South Milo Road.

This is three days of stage music, workshops, porch jams, and the kind of gathering where young musicians learn from elders and people who don't know each other become neighbors around a tune. It's rooted in this place and the people who've kept the music alive here.

About the Stidham Old Time Music Gathering

The Gathering happens over a weekend in July at Webb Music Shop—a place where working musicians have gathered for decades. You'll hear stage music all day and night, go to workshops taught by musicians who know the tunes, and hear informal jams happening in porches and corners.

It's designed to be accessible—affordable tickets, family-friendly, and a place where you can come as a listener, a student, a performer, or just someone who wants to be around the music and the people keeping it alive in this part of the country.

The festival is proudly supported by Hope in the Hills / Healing Appalachia. We are grateful for their support of this community-centered event.
